Keira's First Thanksgiving
This year for Thanksgiving our Bishop and his family invited us over for dinner, it was so much fun, and we were very thankful to be able to spend Thanksgiving with a family, when we are so far away from ours. Keira got to eat an actual Thanksgiving meal for her first Thanksgiving we were very excited!! She enjoyed it very much. She is becoming such a big girl, and I think that she may be trying to dress herself as you can see in the picture with her jammies over her head. Jon and I are getting very excited for her first birthday and for Christmas! We feel like kids again!

Mommy WOW! I'm a BIG Girl Now!!
Keira is very much enjoying being a walker now! After she took her first steps, (going after another little girls toy), it took maybe about a week and a half before she took her second steps, and ever since she has been trying to walk to everything, and it seems that she is getting faster and faster everyday. She still crawls however if she really wants something, so what do you think it means if she will walk to Mommy and Daddy but crawl to get her pacifier? Humm. . . .

Keira's First Halloween
Lunch with Jon at work. As you can see Jon and his co-workers all decided to dress up as Crayons for Halloween. Jon was the Black Crayon. Everyone made their own costumes, the costumes took everyone at least four to five hours to complete. They all had a great time doing this!
Keira was going to be a cute little Puppy Dog for Halloween but when we got the costume home it didn't fit (to small). We had a lot of options but it came down to two. Either a Lilly Fairy, or the Black Cat. It was to cold for the Lilly Fairy so we decided on the Black Cat, which was perfect for Keira seemings she is so cuddly, everyone just loved it. All though I think she is still to young, she got some candy!
The other day Keira took her first two (half) steps. I was babysitting, Sadie had a toy that Keira was interested in, she was already standing so she decided to take her first steps to investigate this new toy. On Sunday she stood up, without holding on to anything for the first time, both Jon and I were home to see her doing this Whoo Hoo! She has also started to clap, when we say yeah, yeah, she will clap, also if she hears clapping on the TV she will clap along with the audience.
