Mount Vernon

The Visitor Center:

I told Keira to hold Martha's hand, but she wanted to hold George's hand too.

The House: Which had been owned by the Washington's since his Grandfather. George Washington made the house bigger after buying it. Which he leased from his brother for about seven years.

The Views: This would be cool to wake up too every day!

Final resting place of George Washington:

This is the Family Tomb where he was first placed.

The Grounds:
Where the Washington's got there water from.
Looking up the Chimney.
Smoke House.

Riding Chairs. If you where riding along somewhere this is what you would use.
A Carriage exactly like the George Washington had, that was made around the same time.
One of the Gardens.
Stain Glass Window:
Signing of the Declaration of Independence.

The Cherry Tree.

George Washington meeting with Alexander Hamilton.

George Washington Crossing the Delaware.
Taking the Presidential Oath.

The Museum:

They eyes in on the Head would follow you as you walked by. . . creepy. ;)

One of my most favorite paintings!

Keira's favorite part of the trip, playing dress-up, and playing with the dolls and doll house!
